Becoming Catholic – The Rite of Christian Initiation (RCIA)

The RCIA program (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is a process offered to non-Catholics – both to those who have not been baptised and those who have been baptised at another Christian Church – who seek to know more about the Catholic Church’s beliefs and teachings.  The process continues from September to the Easter Vigil each year where candidates, if they wish, can become Catholics and are received into the Church through Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist.

Those coming into the Church from another Christian tradition are received into full communion with the Church through the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist.
